CrowdStrike Integration with ZTXGate

CrowdStrike can provide endpoint-security context that ZTXGate uses as part of an access decision.

This connects endpoint posture with resource-level Zero Trust policy: access can depend not only on a valid user identity, but also on whether the requesting device meets the required security conditions.

Use Endpoint Posture in Resource Policy

In connected environments, ZTXGate can incorporate available CrowdStrike posture or risk information into policy for protected resources.

For example, a sensitive resource can require:

  • an authenticated and authorized user
  • an individually enrolled endpoint
  • acceptable CrowdStrike-derived device posture
  • any configured time, location, or approval conditions
  • additional authentication when policy requires it

Keep EDR and Access Enforcement in Their Proper Roles

CrowdStrike remains the endpoint-security platform. ZTXGate remains the access-policy and enforcement point for protected resources.

The integration allows endpoint-security information to influence access without requiring the EDR platform to become the network access gateway.

Continuous Enforcement When Posture Changes

ZTXGate can continue evaluating relevant policy conditions after a connection is established.

If the device no longer satisfies the required posture conditions, access can be revoked according to policy instead of remaining open until the user reconnects.

Combine CrowdStrike with Strong Authentication

For higher-risk resources, ZTXGate can combine endpoint posture with step-up authentication. When licensed, integrated ZTXBAS provides phishing-resistant biometric authentication and remains available even in fully air-gapped ZTXGate deployments.

Cloud-dependent posture integrations such as CrowdStrike naturally require connectivity to the corresponding external service.

Designed for Existing Security Stacks

The objective is not to replace endpoint security. It is to let the existing endpoint-security investment contribute to access decisions alongside identity, device enrollment, resource policy, and audit visibility.
